Motion  by eric

Last week a client asked us to help them develop a test iPhone application that would track a person’s motion through three-dimensional space. The new iPhone 4 comes with an internal gyroscope and we were excited about finally utilizing this new feature.

Our highly skilled programmers took on this interesting task and the next day we had our first build. In order to test it, I had to use the app while running down the street flapping my arms.

The test went well, but we still thought that we could squeeze more data out of the iPhone. So we sent back the build to our programmers and again they quickly gave us back another build. This process went back and forth a few more times, until we ultimately pushed the phone to its upper limits.

When this app progresses from the test phase and is released it could have so many cool and unique uses in everyday life.
